Product 01 · $49.99 / month · founding price
The calls you miss after 5pm are the ones that cost you.
An AI receptionist that answers every call, books straight into your calendar, and knows when to get a human. It doesn't take lunch, doesn't quit, and doesn't put anyone on hold.
How a call actually goes
Someone rings your number. Here's the whole thing.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | Your line rings. It picks up with your greeting, in your voice — warm and brief, or formal and precise, however you set it. |
| 2 | The caller says what they want. Before anything else, we check whether this is something an AI should be handling at all. |
| 3 | If it's an appointment, it checks your real availability and offers times spread across different days — not three slots in the same afternoon. |
| 4 | They pick one. It books, confirms out loud, and the appointment is in your calendar before they hang up. |
| 5 | If it can't help — a price negotiation, a complaint, anything medical or legal — it transfers to you, or takes a message marked urgent. |
| 6 | You get the outcome and a full transcript. Every call, whether it booked or not. |
The four things it will never do
These aren't instructions we gave it. They're constraints in the code, which is a different and much stronger thing.
- It will never double-book you Two people asking for the same 2pm in the same second is exactly what happens when you get busy. Our database refuses the second one outright — no race, no "we'll sort it out later."
- It will never invent an appointment time It can only offer slots it was handed from your real calendar. If it tries to make one up, it books nothing instead. Nobody shows up to a locked door.
- It will never handle an emergency Words like "chest pain" or "emergency" route to a human before the AI is asked what to do. It doesn't depend on the AI noticing.
- It will never pretend to be a person Ask it directly and it says it's an AI assistant, plainly. Callers deserve a straight answer to a straight question.
If it mishears you — a bad line, an accent, background noise — it asks you to repeat rather than guessing. Booking someone for the wrong Tuesday because a transcription was 40% confident is the kind of mistake nobody finds out about until the no-show.
What it costs, and what it replaces
| Option | Monthly | Books appointments? |
|---|---|---|
| Part-time receptionist | $2,000+ | Yes — during their hours |
| Traditional answering service | $200–600 | No — takes messages only |
| The Receptionist | $49.99 | Yes — 24/7 |
| Voicemail | $0 | No |
It costs a fraction of an answering service that only takes messages, and at most service businesses a single recovered appointment covers it for months. That's the whole pitch — we're not going to dress it up further.
Because we're new and you'd be among the first. This is a founding price, not a promotional one — it's locked for as long as you stay, and it will go up for people who come later. We'd rather have early customers who help us find the rough edges than a higher number and nobody using it.
Good fit / bad fit
This works well for
Appointment-driven businesses where a missed call is a lost booking: salons, tattoo studios, dental and medical practices, trades, clinics, repair shops, consultants. Anyone whose phone rings after they've stopped answering it.
This is a bad fit for
Anything where a wrong answer is dangerous — emergency services, crisis lines, medical triage. Businesses whose calls are mostly complex negotiation. And anyone who wants it to convincingly pass as a human, which it won't do and we won't build.
Getting started
Setup is a conversation, not a form. We'd rather understand your business than have you fill in fields.
| Step | What we need |
|---|---|
| Tell us about the business | Hours, appointment length, what you do, what you'd never want an AI to say |
| We configure and demo | You call it yourself and hear exactly what a customer would |
| Point your number at it | Either forward your existing line, or we provide a new one |
| Go live | Cancel any time; you keep every transcript and appointment |
The system is built and tested. We're onboarding the first businesses now, which means you'd be early — you'd get direct access to us and a founding price that won't move. It also means you should expect us to be checking in more than a mature vendor would.
